New features of the WL Sips Solution for merchants
Acceptance of the Apple Pay means of payment with Sips Paypage
WL Sips already made it possible to accept Apple Pay payments via Sips Office connectors. Acceptance of Apple Pay payments is now possible with Sips Paypage connectors (to find out about the availability of this means of payment, please contact your acquirer).
WIP service for Bancontact cards
With the 21.5 release, Bancontact cards will be able to benefit from the WIP (Wallet Initiated Payment) service.
This WIP service allows:
- streamline the user experience of OneClick Bancontact payments. Indeed, below a threshold amount, you can request the deactivation of 3-D Secure authentication;
- offer payment by subscription with Bancontact cards.
The activation of this WIP service is conditioned by several criteria including the addition of information related to the WIP service in the contract. You must contact WL Acquiring to obtain permission to use this service.
Adding the tokenPan in response for Sips Office and Sips Office Batch
The tokenPan field (pan tokenised using the panToToken function in Sips Office) is given in the duplicate and recycle responses of the Sips Office and Sips Office Batch connectors.
Change of WL Sips technical account for Paypal
The current WL Sips technical account will soon be deleted in favour of a new account. You can change the account as soon as the 21R5 release is released by following our documentation.
Regulatory changes
GDPR
As part of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), WL Sips has the option of exporting personal data linked to a webshop on demand.
3DSv2/EMVCo 2.2: acquirer TRA exemptions
Thanks to the approval and implementation of the EMVCo 2.2 protocol, TRA Acquirer exemptions are now possible on the Visa and Mastercard networks, in addition to CB.
Handling multiple payments upon shipping
The release 21R5 will give merchants a possibility to manage multiple payments upon shipping.
This new feature implies the arrival of new possible values for the paymentPattern field, namely the values 'MULTIPLE_1' and 'MULTIPLE_N'.
Note that transactions carried out at the time of dispatch (MIT), and within 30 days after the initialisation of the original transaction (CIT), will be eligible for liability transfer if the payment was made with the CB brand and if the total of the authorised amounts does not exceed the amount authenticated at the time of the CIT.
For more details, please refer to the CB integration guide and the MIT-CIT chaining guide(update ongoing).
