As an acceptor, Sips with its 3DS Server module has just been granted the EMV® 3-D Secure 2.1.0 certification from EMVCo.
Sips is the first technical acceptance provider (formely called payment services provider) to be connected in production to the FAST’R by CB (Flexible Authentication & Secure Transaction for Retail) solution after acting as a pilot since November 2018 for the clients of the Arkea group and the client merchants of BNP Paribas and Société Générale.
The FAST’R by CB solution, based on EMVCo’s 3-D Secure 2.1 protocol, has a dual aim:
- fighting online fraud
- streamlining customer experience
The solution is based on risk analysis tools and modules fully transparent for customers.
